Samsung Galaxy Value Pack leaks online as ROM, brings updates!

They won?t, they will, then they won?t again?Samsung has been all over the place with the decision to bring Ice Cream Sandwich to the first wave of Galaxy S devices (including the original Tab). The last we heard was that instead of bringing the full version of Android 4.0 to the GS, Samsung would bring a ?Value Pack,? essentially all the good stuff you?d want. But the Korean company back tracked on that idea too.

If you were disheartened, don?t worry, the ?Value Pack? that was in the works at Samsung has been leaked online and the dedicated folks over at XDA have made a nice ROM out of it. The new update will give users the ability to use Face Unlock, take pictures while recording video, the Galaxy S II picture editor, new lockscreen sounds, faster auto-rotation, better performance, smoother browsing and a faster gallery, and more goodies.

As with any ROM that is not official, there needs to be a word of caution, this could potentially ruin your device, so please be careful you if decide to try this update. If you do, here?s the source link, good luck!
